We are looking for you who have a teaching license with further education as a special needs educator, or alternatively, you who are currently studying to become a special needs educator. The position starts at the beginning of the term in August or according to agreement, with full-time hours (100%). In this process, you will be directly employed on a vacation cover position by Hedängskolan. To carry out this assignment, you must be able to work full-time on-site. We expect you to have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing; experience with documentation in journal systems is also an advantage. Your Responsibilities

As a special needs educator, you are a support for the schools in Sandviken Municipality and work closely with the deputy principal and other staff. You contribute special needs educational competence to the pedagogical work and participate in the overall planning within the school's learning environment team. The assignment involves work at the individual, group, and organizational levels, with a focus on developing structures and methods for support measures. The role includes mapping the learning environment based on children's needs for special support, as well as identifying both opportunities and obstacles in the operations. You also conduct pedagogical investigations and analyze students' needs for support. At the request of the principal or deputy principal, you follow up and evaluate the development of the learning environments and contribute materials for decisions on measures and actions. You actively participate in a promoting and preventive student health work where the student's best interests are the focus, and you collaborate continuously with the various professions in student health services. Furthermore, you contribute to the work with special measures and action plans, provide supervision and consultation to staff, and work collegially to develop teaching and strengthen students' knowledge development. You also advocate for increased use of alternative learning tools in operations. The role includes participation in the municipality's overall values and equal treatment work, as well as collaboration with both internal and external actors, including guardians, SPSM (County Administrative Board), child and family health, and habilitation services. You also participate in professional supervision. You thrive in a role where you are present in operations and actively work in the school's learning environments together with students and teachers.
