Do you want to inspire the next generation through music?

We are now looking for an engaged and creative music teacher who wants to create musical joy, community, and learning for our students. With us, you have the opportunity to develop music education at two well-functioning F–6 schools where the students' development, security, and hope for the future are at the center.

The position is a permanent full-time appointment with teaching duties divided between Renshammarskolan and Granbergsskolan in Bollnäs Municipality. The start date is at the beginning of the autumn term 2026 or as agreed.

Job Responsibilities

Your Assignment

As a music teacher with us, you have the opportunity to make a difference every day. You awaken curiosity, creativity, and joy of creation in the students while building knowledge and self-confidence through music.

You will among other things:

• Teach students in grades 1–6 in music.
• Plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on the curriculum and regulatory documents.
• Create inspiring musical experiences that engage and develop the students.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the school's pedagogical development work.
• Contribute to a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Are a certified teacher with eligibility to teach music for grades 1–6.
• Have the ability to inspire and engage students through music.
• Create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• Adapt teaching to students' different needs and prerequisites.
• See opportunities in cooperation and preferably work cross-curricularly.
