Over 370 students attend our school, from preschool class to grade 9. Approximately 90–100 children also participate in our after-school activities. We are a multicultural school where our differences are seen as strengths, and where a positive and dynamic spirit prevails.

At Iggesunds School, we work in teams consisting of teachers, teaching assistants, and after-school staff.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have a teaching license with qualifications to teach Social Studies (SO) and Swedish in grades 4-6, and who enjoy working in teams where you jointly support and guide students in their learning and development.

About the Department

We teach children to read, calculate, and discover the world around them. Here, we follow our youngest residents from preschool until they graduate from high school. Through our adult education, one can learn Swedish as a second language, take individual courses, or pursue longer education. With joy, engagement, participation, and a scientific foundation, we want to increase knowledge, creativity, development, and the desire to learn. With us, all children, young people, and adults should feel that they can, want to, and dare! Together, we are the Learning Department – part of Hudiksvall Municipality.
