Norrskensgården is a preschool with six departments located in Andersberg, Gävle. We have a large and inspiring courtyard as well as a forest area just around the corner, providing fantastic opportunities for play, movement, exploration, and learning in nature. Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a dedicated preschool educator who wants to contribute to a safe, playful, and educational daily life for the children. You are present, collaborate well, and are passionate about building good relationships.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Working together with your colleagues to be responsible for the pedagogical work with children aged 1–5 years.
• Constantly working to create a safe, secure, and educational environment that attracts and challenges children to play, engage in activities, and learn.
• Assisting with planning, implementation, documentation, follow-up, and evaluation of the activity according to decided goals and guidelines.
• Promoting a good health-promoting and accessible environment for care, play, physical activity, development, and learning.

Qualifications

You are a secure and flexible preschool educator with the child in focus.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has completed upper secondary education.
• Is trained as a preschool educator (barnskötare).
• Is familiar with the preschool curriculum and other regulatory documents.
• Has good linguistic and communicative skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Experience working with children with special needs is considered an advantage.
