About the Preschools

Lergöken Preschool is located in Forsbacka, Sofiedalsgården is also in Forsbacka, and Guldsmeden is centrally located in Valbo. All preschools are close to libraries, forests, and nature, giving us excellent opportunities to create varied and inspiring learning environments both indoors and outdoors.

Lergöken Preschool and Sofiedalsgården each consist of five departments, while Guldsmeden has three departments. Preschool teachers and childcare assistants work together based on the goals of the curriculum. We organize our work in projects that create context and a holistic approach to children's learning. Through an exploratory working method, children are given the opportunity to develop, participate, and influence their daily lives.

Responsibilities

Are you a pedagogical preschool teacher who wants to contribute to children's learning and development? We are looking for you who are an engaged, positive, and driven preschool teacher who is passionate about your mission and pedagogical development work.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Having the main responsibility for the pedagogical teaching at the preschool together with your work team.
• Planning, implementing, documenting, and following up on, as well as evaluating, the operations according to decided goals and guidelines.
• Using the learning platform Unikum in systematic quality work.

Qualifications

You are a pedagogical and confident preschool teacher with the child in focus. We are looking for you who:

• Have a degree (2026) from the preschool teacher program and/or a preschool teacher license with eligibility to teach in preschool and preschool class.
• Are familiar with and have knowledge of the preschool curriculum.
• Have good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Have experience with children in need of special support.
• Have experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and/or experience with TAC (Total Communication Approach).

• You inspire trust, create confidence, and have the ability to spread calm and stability.
• You have an unpretentious attitude in your collaboration with colleagues, children, and guardians.
• You have the ability to lead and motivate children and colleagues. You make them feel a sense of belonging and inclusion. You are good at creating open dialogue and adapting your language to the current situation.

Selection and interviews take place continuously during the recruitment process.

As a final candidate in the recruitment process, it is a requirement that you present an extract from the criminal record for work in schools or preschools.
