The Child and Family Unit consists of an intake function, an investigation group, a group for monitoring interventions, and a group for family law and foster care. We also operate two family centers and a family team. We are a supportive team with open and direct communication. The unit is currently in a development phase, among other things implementing iRiSk. We offer process supervision, fitness allowances, holiday exchange, and the possibility to work from home part of the time.

Your Role

You will work in the investigation group, where you will assess the life situations and needs of children, young people, and guardians to offer various support measures based on these assessments. On our unit, we work with children and young people aged 0–21. You will have a varied and exciting job handling different types of cases, and we work according to the BBIC (Barns Behov i Centrum / Children's Needs in Focus) model. Our goal is to maintain high quality in our social work. You will be part of an investigation group with two to three colleagues and collaborate closely with other social secretaries, the family team, coordinators, and the unit manager.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for you who have a degree in social work and preferably prior experience in social services. It is an advantage if you have education or experience in BBIC, but it is not a requirement as we work with "Yrkesresan" (SKR), which is a competence-building initiative for those new to the profession. You must have good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and be accustomed to documentation. Since the role involves travel and home visits, a valid driver's license (Category B) is required.

As a person, you are good at putting yourself in others' shoes and understanding their perspectives and situations. You remain calm and collected in situations that require it, focusing on what matters. When needed, you are flexible and capable of adapting and finding solutions. You have strong collaboration skills and are comfortable independently organizing, planning, and creating structure in your work.

A probationary period may be applicable at the start of the employment. If an interview is conducted, an extract from the criminal record will be requested. Selection and contact will take place on an ongoing basis. We offer a 2,000 SEK annual fitness allowance and the possibility of holiday exchange.
