About the role

You will become part of a software team responsible for the development and further development of Windows-based applications used in the company's products and production environment. The systems are an important part of the business and are used to control, monitor, and integrate various parts of the technical solution.

The role suits you who appreciate working with the entire lifecycle – from development and implementation to testing, debugging, and continuous improvements. You will work in a modern .NET environment and collaborate closely with colleagues in mechatronics, vision, and data engineering to ensure robust and well-functioning systems.

  • Debug and analyze problems through code, logs, and reproducible test cases.
  • Work with Git, Pull Requests, and code reviews.
  • Contribute to improvements in automated testing, CI, and development processes.
  • Improve logging, diagnostics, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other development teams regarding integrations and technical interfaces.
We are looking for you who
  • Have a university degree or Master of Science in Engineering in computer science, software development, or equivalent, or have built up equivalent competence through work experience.
  • Have experience in development with C# and .NET.
  • Have experience with Git and modern development workflows.
  • Have worked with testing, debugging, and maintenance of software.
  • Communicate fluently in Swedish and English.

Meritorious experience:

  • WPF and MVVM.

  • Windows Desktop applications.
  • Dependency Injection and Microsoft.Extensions.Hosting.
  • Automated testing and CI.
  • Serilog or other structured logging.
  • Bitbucket.
  • Software with integration against hardware, instruments, or external systems.

We believe you are an analytical and solution-oriented developer who enjoys diving into existing systems and gradually improving them. You have a structured work approach, enjoy debugging complex problems, and value code quality and long-term solutions. At the same time, you appreciate collaboration with other developers and engineers and are happy to contribute ideas that improve both the product and the development process.

About the company

Our client is a Swedish high-tech product company in the solar cell industry that develops groundbreaking energy technology.
