Job Description

As a Data Modeler, you work in close collaboration with information architects, business analysts, business experts, and IT. You ensure that information models and data quality meet both complex business requirements and regulatory demands, while actively contributing to the client's future target architecture – with a special focus on upcoming CRM and Marketing Automation solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Modeling: Develop, document, and maintain logical and physical information models for various business areas and source systems.
• Harmonization: Perform detailed modeling and harmonization between existing data structures and target models.
• Governance & Metadata: Analyze source systems, create data dictionaries/metadata, and contribute to the organization's overarching data governance initiatives.
• Workshops & Standards: Lead workshops and actively ensure that common standards and guidelines for information modeling are followed.
• Collaboration: Cooperate with architects and business analysts to link business needs to sustainable technical solutions.
• Documentation: Prepare and present decision-making and modeling materials to the information architects of the business units.

Required qualifications

• Relevant university degree in IT, computer science, or equivalent.
• At least 6 years of experience in information modeling, including at least 4 years in the role of information architect within large and complex organizations.
• At least 3 years of experience from banking, insurance, or other highly regulated industries.
• Good understanding of information architecture, data governance, data management, and the application of architecture principles.
• Strong ability to balance high-quality demands with time constraints, ensuring that set deadlines and milestones are met.
• Fluent in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with architecture and modeling related to CRM and Marketing Automation (MA).
