Hagaboda School is the municipality's only secondary school and is centrally located. The school underwent a complete renovation a few years ago and is now a modernized educational facility with approximately 600 students. All students have access to their own computers, and we use digital learning materials in our teaching.

About the Position

1 position

The position of Resource Pedagogue is linked to a small number of students in one of the schools in Habo Municipality, based on centrally assessed needs for each school year. During the current school year, the position is located at Hagaboda School, grades 7–9.

In this role, you will work to support students who, for various reasons, need a smaller group setting for part or all of the school day. Additionally, you will serve as a supporting presence in teaching within the regular class and in the school's other activities. The aim of the work is to help students develop in accordance with the goals of education as much as possible, based on their own prerequisites.

Together with teachers and other staff, you will work to create a developmental, meaningful, and positive environment for the students. Collaboration occurs partly with staff in our resource unit, and partly with teaching teachers and special educators regarding planning and the design of teaching.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained pedagogue and have experience working as a resource pedagogue within the school system. You are sensitive, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. It is important that you easily build good relationships and collaborate with students, guardians, work teams, the school's student health team, and school leadership.

You are professional, have good judgment, and can set boundaries. The work requires that you have patience and can adapt your communication and approach based on the situation. You work independently and take initiative.

Meritorious: Good knowledge of and previous experience in pedagogical work with neuropsychiatric functional variations.

You have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
