We are currently seeking a Special Needs Teacher for grades 4–6 at Enehagens School, who wants to help create a safe, learning-oriented, and inspiring school environment for our students. At Enehagens School, we have approximately 280 students and conduct teaching in grades F-6. We are a unit characterized by good relationships, close collaboration within work teams, and student-centered values work. We strive to create a safe and inspiring daily life where all students are given the opportunity to develop and feel hopeful about the future.

As part of our team, you will contribute to the school's continued development and to the positive culture we build together every day. In the school's EHT team, there is another experienced special needs teacher and a special educator. The EHT team meets every Monday afternoon, in addition to which the "spec-team" meets on Monday mornings. The proximity to each other ensures that collaboration takes place every day. In this position, you will also be part of our flexible environment where we receive students during the day.

Job Responsibilities

As a special needs teacher with us, you work closely with students, teachers, and student health services, focusing on promoting students' knowledge development. You contribute both with direct support to students and with guidance to colleagues.

Your duties include:

• Planning and conducting teaching for students in need of special support, individually or in small groups
• Conducting pedagogical assessments together with the special educator and analyzing students' needs
• Supporting students' development in reading, writing, and/or mathematics
• Mentoring and supporting teachers regarding special support
• Collaborating with work teams, student health teams, and school management
• Contributing to the development of accessible and inclusive learning environments

Qualifications

• Are a certified teacher with a special needs teacher degree, or are willing to start a training program and gain experience.
• Have experience working with students in need of special support, preferably in grades 4–6.
• Have good ability to analyze students' learning and adapt teaching based on needs.
• Are team-oriented, solution-focused, and have an inclusive approach.
• Have good communication skills and enjoy mentoring colleagues.
