Your new job
We are looking for a textile arts teacher to join our team! As a textile arts teacher, you will work with planning, teaching, and follow-up according to the national curriculum. Together with engaged and experienced colleagues, you will also be involved in collegial learning at the school.
Welcome to us
The Hovslätt school area, consisting of Hovslättsskolan and Grästorpsskolan, is located just south of Jönköping's city center. Hovslättsskolan is a grades F–6 school with approximately 425 students and 60 staff members, while Grästorpsskolan is a grades F–3 school with approximately 105 students and 15 staff members.
Both schools offer a workplace with engaged and competent staff where we work according to the guiding principles of safety, knowledge, and joy. Qualifications are high across all operations, and together we work consciously with quality improvement based on the curriculum. Your qualifications
We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the eligibility to teach textile arts and who have a burning interest in pedagogical issues and students' social development. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as basic IT skills.
We would appreciate it if you had experience supporting students with ADHD/ASD (NPF) or other special support needs, as part of the role involves working as a teacher resource. As a person, you are a clear and secure leader, both in the classroom and in collegial settings, and your positive attitude contributes to a good work environment. You treat students and guardians professionally and communicate in a responsible manner.
Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and work well together with school leadership and colleagues. You actively contribute to good co-leadership and are a good ambassador for both the workplace and the teaching profession. You are flexible, can work in different teams, and are well grounded in the primary school's mission and its governing documents.
