Nyckelpigan Preschool is a multicultural meeting place consisting of three preschool departments centrally located in Vaggeryd. We are close to the library and nature, and there are good opportunities to reach us by public transport. All preschools in Vaggeryd Municipality work closely with ReMida, which is a pedagogical activity and a center for scrap materials. ReMida's philosophy is based on the idea that materials become pedagogical in children's hands, where creativity and a sustainable future are always related to what is offered. ReMida is also an arena for collegial learning for us, where educators meet in various networks.

Our concept of education is built on the pedagogical platform that the preschools in Vaggeryd Municipality share. In addition to this common platform, all preschools start from a language-developing approach as a development area.

Job Responsibilities

Working as a preschool teacher offers unique and significant opportunities to contribute to children's development and learning. Nyckelpigan Preschool works with projects as a starting point within the unit's common theme: "Sustainable Future-NOW- in our small town." Through this, we want to challenge the children and us educators to experience action competence. Using the tools of observation, documentation, and reflection, you make visible children's influence and learning processes; individually and in groups. These tools also help you determine the direction for the next steps in the pedagogical work. The work with pedagogical documentation constitutes a clear and important part of systematic quality work and our operational development.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified preschool teacher with a preschool teacher degree. You are secure, engaged, and keen on involving children in their learning processes through dialogue. You have a good ability to build relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You have an interest in pedagogical documentation as an approach, and experience in this area is meritorious.

In accordance with the Education Act, an extract from the criminal record is required before employment. Please order this in connection with your application as the police processing time is approx. 2 weeks.
