Hillerstorpsskolan is a school covering grades F-9 (preschool class to grade 9) with approximately 200 students in grades F-6 and approximately 100 students in grades 7-9.

Teachers are divided into work teams. There is continuous cooperation between the different staff categories. Staff meet regularly for joint conferences for grades F-9. Thanks to the proximity to each other and shared staff rooms, there are good opportunities for dialogue and contact across the old stage boundaries, as well as short decision-making paths and closeness between employees and management. An important resource for the operations is the student health team, consisting of a school counselor, principal, school nurse, special education teacher, and study and career counselor.

WORK ASSIGNMENTS

We are looking for you who want to work with providing targeted support interventions to students in grades 1-6 in the subjects of Swedish, Swedish as a second language, and mathematics. The position involves giving students in need of support the best possible conditions to succeed in their learning and progress further in their knowledge development. The teaching will mainly consist of individual students, smaller groups, and, if necessary, teaching to whole student groups.

Your work in providing targeted support interventions will involve close cooperation with the school's teachers, student health services, and school management. You will have a practical, teaching, and directly supportive role for students inside and outside the classroom. In addition to planning and providing targeted support interventions for students, you will also be responsible for monitoring the students' knowledge development.

We are looking for someone who is engaged, flexible, and has a great interest in meeting students with different prerequisites and needs. You find it easy to cooperate with others and see the importance of working together so that every student succeeds.

You will be an important part of the school's student health team and collaborate with students, guardians, teachers, and external actors to create the best possible conditions for the students' learning, development, and well-being.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you with a degree and teacher certification with eligibility to teach Swedish, Swedish as a second language, and mathematics in grades 1-6. We would appreciate it if you had previous experience working as a teacher, but newly graduated candidates are also welcome to apply.

We place great emphasis on social competence and the ability to meet students and collaborate with colleagues and other staff.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-08-06 or according to agreement.
