Öxnehaga School, with its fantastic view of Lake Vättern, is located high up in Huskvarna. Here, approximately 370 students meet – and a world of opportunities. The teaching is based on thoughtful and structured working methods, where we work with phonics in reading instruction. Your new job

As a preschool class teacher with us, you will have one of the school's most important assignments – to be there from the start and lay the foundation for every student's future. In this role, you follow the students in their very first steps into the school world and create security, curiosity, and a desire to learn. By building strong relationships, sparking motivation, and strengthening students' confidence in their own abilities, you lay a foundation that lasts throughout their entire school career.

The teaching is characterized by clear structure and high expectations combined with language-developing working methods, cooperative learning where students develop together, and an inclusive approach where everyone is given the opportunity to succeed.

The work takes place in a strong collegial context where you jointly plan, implement, and develop the teaching, create a red thread between preschool class, school, and after-school care, and follow up on results to drive teaching forward. Good relationships are a natural part of the assignment, and collaboration with both colleagues and guardians contributes to creating a secure and successful school start for every student.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained teacher for preschool class or grades 1–3, or who are at the end of your education.

You are driven by awakening curiosity and strengthening students' desire to learn, with a clear conviction that all students can develop with the right support and high expectations. The work is characterized by structure, clear goals, and good leadership that creates a secure and inclusive learning environment.

You have a good understanding of students' learning in the early years and adapt the teaching based on the students' needs. Collaboration is a natural part of your working method, as is the willingness to contribute to the school's joint development and to create trusting relationships with students and guardians.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
