As part of our dynamic work team, you will contribute to planning, developing, and evaluating teaching to create the best conditions for students' learning and development.

This is a position that may lead to a permanent employment contract, with an start date of August 3, 2026.

Are you the one we are looking for?

  • You have a teaching degree with a focus on work in lower secondary school / grades F-3.
  • You thrive in team collaboration and enjoy creating a positive and safe learning environment for all students.
  • You are curious about and inspired by IES ethos and values.

IES is built on three core pillars:

  1. Bilingualism – We teach in both English and Swedish to prepare our students for an increasingly global world.
  2. A safe and orderly environment – We value self-discipline, respect, and good relationships to create a calm and secure place where all students can focus on learning.
  3. High and positive expectations – We believe that all students can succeed with the right support and guidance. Therefore, we set high standards for both ourselves and our students, while offering support and encouragement.

We follow Swedish school law, teach according to Lgr 22, and work in line with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. As part of our team, you will work closely with the safety team, the leadership team, and student health professionals – special needs teachers, counselors, and school nurses.

We are proud of our multicultural school where almost half of both staff and students have an international background. This cultural diversity creates a stimulating and engaging work environment.
