Join our team as a Woodwork Teacher for Middle and Upper School at IES Jönköping!

We are looking for an engaged and certified woodwork teacher who wants to help drive high-quality woodwork education at our school. Here, you will work in a dynamic, international environment where we together create a calm study atmosphere, academic success, and a safe environment for everyone. The woodwork workshop has been newly renovated with new machines installed in the summer of 2025.

This is a position that can lead to a permanent employment contract, with an start date of August 3, 2026.

About the Role

We are an international school with 850 students from preschool class to grade 9, and 130 employees from all over the world. As a woodwork teacher, you are responsible for planning and conducting meaningful lessons for both middle school and upper school. You work within the subject group 'practical aesthetic subjects'.

We are looking for a confident and professional educator with training in woodwork who thrives as a leader in the classroom. For this position, we are only looking for applicants with a Swedish teaching license or those who will obtain one shortly.
