RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a special educator/special needs teacher who, together with the student health team, teaching staff, and principal, will work to promote the development of all students. As a special educator/special needs teacher, you are responsible for creating a positive and creative learning environment so that students feel motivated in their learning. It is important that you can interact well with students and are skilled at building good relationships. You are well-versed in regulatory documents, as you will teach, investigate, and develop. You will also serve as a support for teachers in special educational matters.

Your main responsibilities will be to lead the work with support measures at both group and individual levels based on assessments and identified needs. There are good opportunities to build up a support service together with teachers and management in a way that benefits student learning. You will conduct and support teachers in the work with pedagogical investigations and analyze student needs at the organizational, group, and individual levels. You will participate in writing action plans and extra adaptations for students in need of support. As a special educator/teacher, you have an important and active role in the school's systematic quality work and contribute to identifying, analyzing, and structuring the work with students' knowledge development and goal fulfillment. The position also involves teaching individually and in groups, and it is an advantage if you are a special needs teacher. In addition, you will have considerable contact with school staff, students, and guardians.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Trained as a special educator/special needs teacher.
