Description

You are welcome to apply for the position of music teacher at three smaller schools in a safe and pleasant environment with proximity to both nature and dedicated colleagues.

Hanahöjskolan is a preschool class to grade 6 school with approximately 170 students and is located in Forsheda, about 1.5 miles west of Värnamo.

Gällaryd School is a preschool class to grade 6 school with approximately 45 students and is located about 7 km outside Bor.

Tånnö School is a preschool class to grade 3 school with approximately 30 students south of Värnamo.

The position is scheduled for 2–3 days per week and involves work at all three units.

Responsibilities

As a music teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating music education based on current guidelines. You stimulate students' creativity and interest in music through varied and inspiring methods.

The assignment also includes:

• grading and contributing to students' knowledge development
• adapting teaching to students' different needs and prerequisites
• collaborating with colleagues to create a holistic learning experience for students
• participating in the school's development work and contributing to a good learning environment

You will become an important part of the schools' pedagogical activities and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• have a teaching license with eligibility to teach music
  (or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent)
• have good ability to plan and organize your work
• are flexible and enjoy working at several schools
• have a positive attitude and good collaboration skills
• are engaged and inspire students to learn and create

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

Conditions

We work with continuous selection and interviews. The position will be filled subject to necessary decisions being made.

In Värnamo Municipality, all permanent positions are advertised as full-time. If you instead wish for part-time work and the activity can accommodate a lower degree of employment, this is of course an option.
