Are you an engaged special needs educator who wants to work in an environment where learning, community, and personal development are at the center? Then this might be the position for you.

About the Position

You will work closely with teachers, assistants, and other staff to provide participants with the support they need to succeed in their studies and develop based on their individual prerequisites.

The role includes mapping, planning, and following up on support measures, and you will be part of the school's support team.

Since the operations also include boarding school accommodation and leisure activities, scheduled work during evenings and weekends is required. During these shifts, you work in the role of student assistant/support person and support participants with their housing, daily chores, and social activities.

This means a varied position where you contribute your special pedagogical competence in the educational work and are a present support person in the participants' daily lives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide special pedagogical support to participants in studies and daily life.
  • Map, plan, and follow up on support measures.
  • Participate in the school's support team.
  • Support participants in boarding and leisure activities during evening and weekend work.

We are looking for you who have a degree in special education or other relevant pedagogical education, as well as experience working with individuals in need of special support and those with Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDD/NPF). You are secure, empathetic, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. You can combine special pedagogical development work with practical support in the participants' daily lives and thrive with varying working hours.

Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD/NPF) is an advantage.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment Type: Permanent position with a six-month probationary period.

Scope: Full-time.

Working Hours: Varying hours, including evenings and weekends.
