Your new job

As a teacher at Lekerydsskolan, you work in a team with a teaching colleague in a specific grade. You divide the teaching between you but share a joint responsibility as class teachers. There are three work teams at the school, and you will belong to the F-3 teaching team.

You collaborate closely with a cooperating leisure-time educator to meet the students' needs and development from a whole-day perspective. You build trust-based relationships with both students and guardians, as we see this as a success factor for our students' achievements.

Lekerydsskolan is a school for grades F-6 (Preschool Class to Grade 6) located in the heart of the community of Lekeryd, but with a large catchment area extending into the countryside towards neighboring municipalities such as Aneby and Nässjö. We have approximately 350 wonderful students.

Here you will find 45 competent, qualified, and positive colleagues who work in close cooperation with each other, both within your own work team and with colleagues around the school. Our key words have become "Cooperation and Shared Vision", which clearly describes what we aim to achieve.

The school is located near forests and nature, within walking distance of sports fields and playgrounds. Here, there are great opportunities to use the outdoor environment as part of the teaching.

Your competence

You are a qualified teacher with a teaching license and the eligibility to teach in grades F–3. You are also welcome to apply if you are about to receive your license or graduate soon.

You have a low-affective approach to interactions and are a clear leader in the classroom. You see cooperation as a natural part of your work and actively contribute to collegial learning. We would appreciate if you have previous experience working in schools or leisure-time centers. You have good basic IT skills and good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Before employing new staff for our teaching positions, we must ensure that there is a valid teaching license. We therefore ask you to attach a current teaching license obtained from the Swedish National Agency for Education within the last two months.
