The school has identified a need for support for students who require a smaller teaching environment. The goal of this position is to increase school attendance and goal achievement for students with various difficulties through individually adapted study support and a cohesive school day.

We are now looking for an engaged teacher for our smaller teaching group for grades 7–9. We look forward to receiving your application!

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will design individually adapted support, both within the support activities and in relation to regular teaching, often in collaboration with subject teachers and the pedagogical student health team.

You will also:

• support students in developing their study skills,
• help students prioritize and organize their schoolwork,
• conduct exams, both oral and written.

The group consists of up to ten students who participate either during parts of the school day or throughout the entire school day. You will collaborate with another colleague who also works with the student group, as well as with other staff members at the school.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a trained teacher with a teaching license and the qualification to teach in grades 7–9 within a theoretical subject. Previous experience working with students with Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDD) is meritorious. You also have good knowledge of the most common computer programs and digital tools.

ABOUT THE WORKPLACE

Junkaremålsskolan is a F–9 school located in Tranås. The school is divided into two stages, and the secondary school has approximately 330 students and 50 staff members.

Our operations offer support through student coaches, support teachers, and the student health team to promote students' development and learning. You will work together with the principal and colleagues to provide the students with the best possible education.

Permanent employment upon presentation of a teaching license.

Full-time position (100%).
