Welcome to apply for the position of Teacher at Hånger School!

Hånger School is a pre-school to year 6 school with approximately 50 students, located in a beautiful countryside setting about 1.5 miles south of Värnamo. The forest right on the doorstep is a natural part of the teaching environment, especially for the younger years.

Responsibilities

Do you want to work at a smaller school where relationships are at the center and where you get the opportunity to really get to know your students? Then this might be the job for you!

We are currently looking for two teachers for our operations. Here you work in an environment where we help each other and share joint responsibility for the students' entire school day.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, enjoys variety, and thrives in meeting students of different ages. In the position, you will, together with a colleague, be responsible for teaching either in grades pre-school to 3 or grades 4–6, depending on your education and competence. You also collaborate closely with the after-school center staff – collaboration is a natural part of everyday life with us.

You need to have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

• has a teaching license for the current stage
• is confident in your leadership in the classroom and creates structure, peace, and motivation
• is passionate about supporting students' knowledge-based and social development
• plans, conducts, and follows up on teaching based on the curriculum – with the student's needs in focus
• works with low affectivity and builds secure, trust-based relationships
• sees guardians as important collaboration partners and communicates clearly and respectfully

As a person, you are positive, engaged, and secure. You are creative, receptive, and see possibilities in your pedagogical work. You enjoy working both independently and together with others, and actively contribute to a good atmosphere in the work team.

Hånger School belongs to the same school unit as another school. Together, we work with collegial learning, joint staff meetings, and study days – all to develop together.
