Do you want to help create a meaningful and enriching leisure time for students – while also contributing to the school's work during the day? We are now looking for an after-school care teacher for Mogärdeskolan.

As an after-school care teacher, you plan and implement educational activities before and after school hours, where students have the opportunity to develop through play, movement, creativity, and social learning. You contribute to creating a safe and stimulating environment where the students' needs and curiosity are at the center.

During the school day, you work as a resource teacher for grades 5–6, supporting students in their learning and contributing to creating structure, a quiet study environment, and participation in the classroom. You collaborate closely with teachers and other staff and are an integral part of the holistic approach to the students' school day.

Mogärdeskolan is located in the heart of Vetlanda and has approximately 250 students from preschool class to grade six. Several nationalities and languages are represented here, and we actively work with language development. Integrated into the school's facilities is also an adapted primary school with a focus on subjects. The school is characterized by a collegial culture where safety, collaboration, and learning are in focus.

We are looking for someone who is engaged, responsible, and has a good approach towards students and colleagues. You have an easy time building relationships, taking initiative, and contributing to engagement and participation among the students. You thrive in collaboration with others but can also work independently and drive activities forward.

The position is a permanent position at 80-100 percent, depending on what we agree upon.

Qualifications

• You have a teaching license with eligibility to teach in after-school care.
• We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
• Extract from the criminal record register (Swedish: belastningsregistret).
