Resource Teacher for IM Programme and Adult Education at Gnosjöandans Kunskapscentrum (GKC)

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work as a resource teacher primarily for our students enrolled in the IM (Individualal Program) program. You will be part of the team working with these students, where you, together with other educators, are responsible for their development.

You will be a key player in supporting students on the program so that each student reaches as far as possible in their knowledge development. It may become relevant for you to find suitable internship placements, prepare students for internship visits, and follow up continuously.

You will also provide support to students taking adapted adult education courses.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have experience working with young people, preferably within school or other educational activities, and who have a good understanding of students in need of special support. Experience working on introduction programs or with students with various learning difficulties, neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF), or school absenteeism is meritorious.

It is meritorious if you have education within the Child and Youth Care program, social pedagogy, special education, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have a good ability to create secure relationships and can motivate and support students in their knowledge and personal development. You work in a structured manner, are flexible, and can adapt your working methods to the students' different needs and conditions.

As a person, you are sensitive, clear, and have a professional attitude. You find it easy to collaborate with colleagues, guardians, and external contacts, for example in connection with internships.

The work requires that you are responsible, self-initiating, and proactive. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration/Start date: 2026-08-06 or by agreement.
Working hours: Daytime.
