Your new job

In your work, you will become part of a dedicated team of colleagues at the Junibacken and Mattisskogen departments. You are responsible for the pedagogical work in the leisure centre, planning, implementing, and following up on activities that align with the goals of the curriculum and other parts of the compulsory school's mission. By offering creative and varied approaches, you give students the opportunity to learn in new ways and apply their knowledge in practice. An important part of the assignment is to ensure that the leisure centre functions as a meaningful and developmental complement to the students' school day, where their abilities, social development, and self-confidence are allowed to grow. You build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues, contributing to a safe and inspiring learning environment that meets students during their leisure time.

Welcome to us

Ölmstad is beautifully located in nature between Huskvarna and Gränna. The Ölmstad school area consists of two schools: Ölmstadskolan with approximately 250 students and Örserumsskolan with about 35 students. The school is in an exciting phase with a completely new school building that was completed in January 2026.

Your qualifications

We are looking for a certified teacher for work in the leisure centre, or alternatively, a candidate who has not yet received their certification or is at the end of their education. The role requires that you have a good understanding of the compulsory school's mission and the regulatory documents that guide the leisure centre's work. To succeed in the assignment, you need to have very good knowledge of Swedish, both orally and in writing, as well as basic digital competence that allows you to confidently use the school's IT tools in daily work.

Experience of working in a leisure centre or school is meritorious, as it provides a good foundation for quickly entering the role and contributing to the development of the activity. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
