About the job

As a crafts teacher in textile crafts, you are responsible for the teaching and the students' development in the subject, and contribute to a safe and creative learning environment. Your duties include, among other things:

• conducting teaching in textile crafts, including planning, implementation, and follow-up
• responsible for documentation, grading, and other official duties
• serving as a class mentor, which includes mentor time, development conferences, parent meetings, and attendance follow-up
• being responsible for the craft room and its activities
• actively participating in work groups, subject groups, and competence development

About you

We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, responsible, and engaged. You thrive with independent responsibility, have good planning skills, and quickly adapt to new work environments and routines. At the same time, you are collaborative and responsive to the needs of the operation.

We provide staff in accordance with the requirements of the Education Act. To be considered, we primarily see that you:

• are a licensed and qualified teacher in textile crafts according to the Education Act
• have experience in teaching and mentoring in primary and lower secondary school
• have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

In cases where qualified staff cannot be provided, unqualified staff may be accepted temporarily. By "unqualified" is meant a person who lacks formal education according to the Education Act but has relevant experience for the assignment. For such personnel, we verify sufficient experience and suitability for the assignment.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in crafts and in giving students a positive and developmental education.

Period and scope

• 10 August 2026 – 31 December 2026, with the possibility of extension
• Holiday service according to Appendix M
• 35 hours/week on-site plus 10.5 hours of trust time
