Per Brahegymnasiet (PB) is a school that is innovative and forward-thinking, but also rests on a historical foundation and values its traditions. We care about each other and work to create a workplace where we all thrive and develop. The school has approximately 1,500 students and 150 employees and is beautifully located in the center of Jönköping. The university-preparatory programs we offer are EK, ES, IB, NA, and SA. The school is organized into four principal areas with shared support functions.

Your new job
You will teach Social Studies and English, or another subject. The position includes mentorship and participation in, and responsibility for, tasks within the program working group and the pedagogical development group. You will, to a large extent, together with colleagues and students, plan and carry out the pedagogical activities. In this, you and your colleagues work to encourage students to take their own initiatives and responsibility for their learning.
Your qualifications
We are looking for you who have a teaching degree and teaching certification for upper secondary school in Social Studies and English, or another subject. You have an easy time building relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. We place great importance on the ability to see opportunities for improvement and development of our operations, as well as a curiosity to try new working methods and approaches. Jönköping Municipality uses several learning platforms, so you are also expected to have experience and knowledge of handling ICT tools.

The position is a temporary assignment during the academic year 2026/2027.
