The role of teacher in mathematics and English with a focus on communication and marketing

As a teacher in mathematics and English, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching. You meet participants with different experiences, prerequisites, and goals, and contribute to a learning environment where every individual is given the opportunity to develop, grow, and achieve their goals.

The position involves teaching in mathematics and English corresponding to approximately 75 percent of working hours. The remaining part of the position involves responsibility for communication and marketing with a focus on strengthening Värnamo Folk High School's visibility and attractiveness. The goal is for more people to become aware of our education programs and the opportunities that the folk high school offers.

In the role, you work with planning and implementing communication and marketing initiatives, creating content for the website and social media, and representing the school at fairs, information meetings, and other external contexts. You develop and maintain relationships with partners and other key actors, and contribute to communicating the school's activities in an inspiring, professional, and trust-building manner. The employment is a fixed-term position during the academic year 2026–2027, from August 10, 2026, to June 17, 2027.
