Your new job

You will teach wood and metal crafts in grades 7–9 at Rosenlund School in Jönköping. In the autumn of 2026, you will move into newly built premises for wood and metal crafts. You will be part of a work team as well as a subject team. The role requires a flexible approach and a positive view of students.

You will plan and conduct teaching in wood and metal crafts according to the curriculum, and follow up on students' knowledge development in collaboration with colleagues. You will create a safe and secure learning environment where students can develop their creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical knowledge.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher or have experience and interest in teaching wood and metal crafts at the lower secondary level. It is important that you have the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. It is also important to be a good role model.

You have the ability to see students' different needs, take into account their individual prerequisites, and help students grow, develop, and achieve good results. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. Basic IT competence is a requirement.

Before employing new staff for our teaching positions, we must ensure that there is a valid teacher certification. We therefore ask you to attach a current teacher certification obtained from the Swedish National Agency for Education within the last two months.
