ATV Instructor at Fieldwork School, Göta Engineer Regiment (Ing2)

Do you have extensive experience with All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) and want to take the next step in your career by training others? This could be the right role for you.

The Fieldwork School at Göta Engineer Regiment (Ing 2) is now looking for an ATV instructor. We are looking for someone with broad practical and technical experience of ATVs who wants to use their skills to train future instructors within the Swedish Armed Forces. You do not need to be a qualified teacher – you will receive the pedagogical training required to succeed in the role.

About the unit

The Fieldwork School conducts both material tests and type unit development, as well as student training. Students include both professional and reserve officers undergoing competence development, as well as those undertaking advanced training. As there is a large need to increase the number of instructors in the ATV field, we are now looking for an ATV instructor.

Main responsibilities

In the role of ATV instructor, you work in a team to train future instructors in the Swedish Armed Forces in the use of ATVs. Support for soldier training on ATVs may also occur. For the right individual, there is an opportunity to support the school's work in defining the Swedish Armed Forces' future needs for ATVs. The position offers good opportunities for competence development.

Requirements

  • 3-year upper secondary education or equivalent knowledge assessed by the employer as comparable
  • Driver's license class BE/CE
  • Good knowledge of construction machinery

Merits

  • Pedagogical training
  • Completed military education/GMU
  • Training certificate or military driving license for ATVs

Personal competencies

We are looking for someone who takes responsibility, shows initiative, and enjoys working together with others. You have a structured way of working and can adapt to varying tasks. Since the role involves many contacts, it is important that you have good communication skills and can build trusting relationships. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

For the agency's mission to be successful, it is assumed that all employees act according to the existing value base. The Swedish Armed Forces' value base protects the equal value of all people, justice, and equality, and promotes democracy and human rights (read more at www.forsvarsmakten.se (http://www.forsvarsmakten.se/)).
