About the Position

Stockholm County Hospital (SLSO) provides healthcare for the inhabitants of Region Stockholm and is responsible for IT services that support the work of care.

Examples of tasks:

• Lead and be responsible for the full technical management of our systems, from handover to continuous operation and decommissioning.
• Act as the main contact for our operations and suppliers regarding the technical status, performance, lifecycle planning, and incident handling of the systems.
• Plan, coordinate, and follow up on maintenance, upgrades, and patching in consultation with the Operations Organization.
• Work proactively with capacity planning, lifecycle management, and ensuring that SLAs and security requirements are met.
• Identify new needs from healthcare operations and drive further development of the systems together with our integration and project teams.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic education or equivalent competencies acquired through other education combined with long and relevant work experience.
• Several years of experience in technical system management, IT delivery, or a similar role.
• Good general understanding of IT infrastructure (operating environments, networks, integrations) to be able to conduct an informed dialogue with both technicians and requirement holders.
• Experience working process-oriented according to established frameworks for management and service management (e.g., ITIL or PM3).
• Accustomed to handling supplier relationships and acting as an advisor in technical matters.
• You have good knowledge of application and infrastructure operations as well as basic knowledge of information and IT security.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and well-developed presentation skills.
• Good knowledge of using Office 365.
• Extensive experience working with subcontractors.
• Experience with procurement.
• Extensive experience with process work.

• Register control is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register control upon employment.
• Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination, according to current directives, which takes place through the occupational health service before employment.
• Requires, in addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The same requirement is guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
