About the role

Tieto is strengthening its position as a strategic partner to the public sector, helping organizations turn digitalization into business value. As a Solution Consultant, you will become a key figure in this development.

You work at the interface between business and IT, helping customers translate operational needs into digital solutions using Public 360˚. This involves understanding the customer's business, challenging the status quo, and creating solutions that provide long-term business value. You are involved early in the customer dialogue, helping the customer structure their needs, create alignment, and lay the foundation for the right solution. You then follow the customer through the entire journey – from initial dialogues to implementation, further development, and long-term value creation.

The role extends far beyond product expertise. You build long-term customer relationships, drive business development, and act as a strategic advisor helping customers develop their operations using modern technology.

Responsibilities

The role involves proactively supporting customers in their digital transformation by translating operational needs into value-creating solutions using Public 360˚. Your main tasks include:

  • Act as a strategic advisor: Build long-term relationships, understand the customer's business, and help decision-makers prioritize initiatives that create business value.
  • Lead business dialogues, workshops, and needs analyses: Help the customer structure operational challenges, map and visualize processes, create alignment, and define a clear target state before the solution is designed.
  • Translate needs into solution concepts: Translate operational needs, requirements, and regulations into recommendations and solutions based on Public 360˚.
  • Communicate business value: Present solutions and clarify value, effects, investments, and organizational consequences.
  • Drive long-term customer development: Support and develop customers' use of Public 360˚ to create long-term value.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with the sales organization, project management, delivery teams, and product organization to ensure successful customer projects.
  • Contribute to team development – develop working methods, processes, and consulting competence together with colleagues.

We are looking for you who

We believe you have experience in a consulting role where you have worked closely with customers on complex IT solutions, business development, or digital transformation. You feel comfortable in dialogues with customers, are used to building trust with various stakeholders, and enjoy guiding decisions even when needs are not entirely clear.

We are looking for someone with experience in:

  • Experience in a consulting role where you have worked closely with customers on complex IT solutions, business development, or digital transformation.
  • Ability to lead business dialogues, workshops, and needs analyses where you help the customer structure operational challenges, map and visualize processes, create alignment, and define a clear target state before the solution is designed.
  • Experience in driving business development by identifying new opportunities and creating long-term value for the customer.
  • Experience from the public sector or other information-intensive operations.
  • You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

It is an advantage if you have

  • Case and document management or Enterprise Content Management (ECM).
  • Information management or digitalization within the public sector.
  • Information security and GDPR.
