About the role

Here at the section responsible for education, training, and exercises, we ensure quality, develop, implement, and evaluate educational, exercise, and training activities. Here you will have the opportunity to influence, improve, and create long-term sustainable solutions in a complex and socially vital environment.

As a technical officer, you will support the digital development of exercise and training environments. The work involves close collaboration with many colleagues.

Main responsibilities:

You will participate in and support:

  • planning of training related to education and exercises within the cyber domain
  • control of orders within your area of responsibility
  • development of processes related to training activities within the cyber domain
  • technical development of exercise and training environments in the cyber range
  • technical development of digital platforms for support in education and exercises
  • Swedish Armed Forces' participation in national and international cooperation forums regarding cyber range development
  • assisting other project managers at the section.

We are looking for you who meet the following requirements:

  • academic technical education within the cyber domain or other equivalent education/experience that the employer considers relevant
  • experience participating in technical projects
  • very good computer skills, including the Office package
  • very good skills in expressing yourself both orally and in writing in Swedish and English

It is meritorious if you have experience of:

  • knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' organization and/or education system
  • good understanding of the cyber domain
  • experience from a government agency
  • education in project management
  • Category B driver's license

Other requirements:

The reason we ask you to be restrained with information is that certain positions at the unit are subject to secrecy. Swedish citizenship is required for employment with the Swedish Armed Forces. Employment entails national and international work obligations. The selection process will be supplemented with work psychological tests.
