We are looking for an independent sub-consultant as a Health Informatician for Karolinska University Hospital. You will work on technical development within medical diagnostic workflows (especially genetic diagnostics) as well as handling of lab samples, orders, and genomics data.

• Period: August 17, 2026 – December 31, 2026 (with a chance of extension until June 2027).

• Scope: 100% (Full-time).

• Location: Stockholm / Partially remote (up to 50%).

• Our Margin: 50 SEK/hour.

• Application Deadline: July 29, 2026.

• Language: CV must be in Swedish.

• Further develop systems for structured management of lab samples, reports, and genomics data.

• Focus on data quality, information flows, and integrations between different systems.

• Independently drive and coordinate work at a high level.

• Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and the business unit to create smart information models.

To be considered for the role, you need to have competence level 4 and:

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a Health Informatician, Information Architect, or similar within healthcare.

• HL7 FHIR: At least 3 years of experience in profiling, information modeling, and administration of FHIR servers. You must have used tools such as FHIR Shorthand (FSH), SUSHI, HL7 IG Publisher and VS Code.

• Data Flows & Regulations: At least 3 years of experience with information exchange within healthcare and good knowledge of laws regarding data and information security.

• Language: Very good Swedish in both speech and writing.

It is a big plus if you have experience with:

• Information modeling within diagnostics.

• Work with genomics, precision medicine, or genetic diagnostics.
