The Department's Mission
The Department for Common Agency IT is responsible for several of the Swedish Public Employment Service's central digital support systems. We develop and maintain solutions that enable secure and efficient handling of the agency's information and processes.
Here, developers, architects, and business experts work together in agile teams to create sustainable and modern solutions for the entire agency. Through our work, we contribute to strengthening the Swedish Public Employment Service's digital capabilities and creating better conditions for an important societal mission.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for you who want to be part of the journey to create modern IT solutions by joining an agile senior development team that supports the Swedish Public Employment Service in handling agency information and regulations through systems such as electronic archives and diary systems.
The position is within the IT department, and development takes place in close collaboration with experts from various parts of the business, for example, the Legal Department.
The role involves developing and maintaining existing support systems for the business, as well as creating new solutions using the Swedish Public Employment Service's platforms.
As a fullstack developer, you need to be an agile team player with full control over everything from development, support, further development, operations, and maintenance, as well as responsibility for code quality and operational documentation. This requires structured work and attention to detail regarding solutions and proposed solutions.
Being able to quickly adapt to changed conditions and being flexible are fundamental to succeeding in the role. Therefore, you need to be curious, responsible, and have a strong drive to work with development and maintenance.

The position is a permanent full-time employment that may start with a six-month probationary period. The workplace is the headquarters in Solna.

Basic Requirements for the Position
- University/college education with an IT focus equivalent to a system scientist or civil engineer, or equivalent experience.
- Several years of experience in Java development
- 2 years of experience with Angular and TypeScript
- Fluent communication in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Additional Merits for the Position
- Experience working in a complex IT environment with many IT systems
- Experience with DevOps development
- Experience with agile working methods
- Experience with REST-API
- Experience working with OpenShift or another container-based platform
- Experience working with Spring Boot & SQL
