The role

As a Systems Engineer here, you are responsible for everything from operation and maintenance to support of the Swedish Armed Forces' command systems. You will perform technical analyses, testing, and verification, as well as monitor system status. You will produce technical instructions and maintenance information, and be responsible for configuring various network products. The role also involves verifying corrections and system updates within reference systems.

You will be part of a team of 4–8 systems engineers accustomed to solving technical problems together from a cross-functional approach.

The team plans its own work, and based on your experience, strengths, and ambitions, you will find the right role for you within the team together. The work is based at the supplier's office in Järfälla.

As the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you must undergo and pass a security investigation with register check.

What we are looking for

We are looking for you who have a strong interest in technology and the ability to quickly grasp complex systems. You are a team player who thrives on collaborating to solve technical problems. You have a university degree in IT or IT security, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Experience from working within the Swedish Armed Forces, particularly with command and radio systems as well as cryptographic systems and network administration, is meritorious. A category B driver's license is required as the position involves some travel, and you must have good command of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
