The Role

As an experienced Systems Development Engineer, you are responsible for everything from operations and maintenance to support for the Swedish Armed Forces' command and control systems, as well as investigations and analyses of the systems' status. You will work on the development and implementation of command and control systems for the Air Force and participate in projects from conceptualization to final delivery. In this role, you will perform requirements work, including the collection, analysis, and documentation of system requirements, as well as work with system architecture and verification. The command and control systems play a central role in the Swedish Armed Forces' and Air Force's chains of function with high operational and flight safety requirements.

You will be part of a larger team working with simultaneous releases and continuous development of new capabilities, with demands for continuous technological development. The work is based at the supplier's office in Järfälla.

Since the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you must undergo and pass a security clearance with register check.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Systems Science, or equivalent, with a few years of experience in systems development. We believe you have experience in requirements work and management within technical projects, as well as a good understanding of security requirements.

We are seeking an engaged and driven person who is solution-oriented, responsible, and takes initiative. You should be team-oriented and enjoy working in a group to achieve common goals. Experience from the Swedish Armed Forces or the defense industry is meritorious. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required as the position involves some travel, and you must have a good command of both Swedish and English in speech and writing.
