Who are we?

Tåby School is located on Vikbolandet, approximately 15 km from the city of Norrköping. We have a large and creative schoolyard with proximity to nature and forests, and a close collaboration with, among others, local associations and the church. We are a school for grades F-5 with one class per grade level and approximately 115 students. At our leisure-time centre with two departments, approximately 100 students are enrolled.

Tåby School has a well-functioning student health service where the focus is on students' health, well-being, and goal achievement. The student health service is driven by a student health team, but all staff at the school are involved in student health. We strive to give our students knowledge and preparation for further studies, a strong belief in themselves, and high confidence in their own abilities.

We also have a safety team consisting of staff from the different work teams and a school counselor. Every classroom is equipped with a smartboard and all students have access to Chromebooks, also at the leisure-time centre. At the school, we work in work teams to develop and support each other in our work.

Your responsibilities

As a leisure-time centre teacher with us at Tåby School, you will be responsible for teaching at the leisure-time centre and carry out activities together with four other leisure-time centre teachers. You will also collaborate with the school's teachers, student health team, and student resources. You lead and organize the work so that a safe and stimulating learning environment is created for all students.

In this assignment, you are also responsible for physical education and all other teaching in preschool class one day/week. During the rest of the school days, a preschool teacher is responsible for the teaching, but you are present in the preschool class as support for individual students and a resource in the classroom when you do not have time for your own planning. You are also on duty during breaks, lead break activities, and eat pedagogically with the students.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a certified leisure-time centre teacher and have a B-driver's license.

You have experience working with students with NPD diagnoses or traumas and students who challenge and develop you in other ways in your role as a teacher.

You are a clear leader and a good role model who creates safety in your surroundings and easily builds good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are flexible and solution-focused and can adapt when the day does not go as planned.

You see collaboration with other professions as a matter of course and you want to be involved in development work, both for the school and for your areas of responsibility.
