Who are we?
Tamburinens School is located in Klockaretorpet, a creative residential area filled with wonderful students who have big dreams for the future. The area is characterized by rows of terraced houses and small wooded areas. The school offers both primary school and adapted primary school education.
Tamburinens School is a grades F-6 school located beautifully where the trams turn around and the oak landscape spreads out. Approximately 260 students meet here during the day for a learning environment focused on life and the future. At Tamburinens School, we work in teams that follow the grade levels, where staff with different qualifications, experiences, and competencies work together to support our students.
Under the guidance of teachers from the Municipal School of Music, our first-grade students receive music education. Older students can also try playing various string instruments during school-age educenter hours.
During the 2024–2025 school year, we began working on creating a common value base, as we recently underwent a merger process with our neighboring school. We have settled on three key words: Safety, Learning, and Responsibility. These will be important for us in our continued work moving forward.
We are now looking for an engaged School-Age Educenter Teacher who wants to help develop the work at our school-age educenter and our school.
Your responsibilities
As a School-Age Educenter Teacher, you have a two-part role within the primary school's operations, working both at the school-age educenter and participating in teaching during school hours. Your working hours will be distributed within the span of 06:00–18:00.
In the morning or afternoon, you work on one of our school-age educenter departments together with other School-Age Educenter Teachers and colleagues. You are jointly responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and analyzing the school-age educenter's activities based on current regulatory documents.
You contribute to the development of the activities, share good ideas, and adapt teaching/activities to the students' needs. It is important that you recognize and capture learning in the moment and have a good ability to plan for learning in every activity.
During school hours, you contribute the school-age pedagogical perspective to the ongoing teaching. Depending on your competence and qualifications, you may also have your own teaching responsibilities.
You are part of a school team where you complement each other's competencies and work together for the students' learning and safety. At the school-age educenter, you, together with colleagues, are responsible for planning and following up on activities, as well as being part of the pedagogical development group.
You actively participate in the school's and team's various joint tasks, contributing ideas and experience. We expect you to have an open pedagogical approach and high expectations that all students can develop in their learning, with collaboration with colleagues in focus.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who are a qualified School-Age Educenter Teacher, and we would prefer that you have a focus on music. You preferably have experience in pedagogical work, but this is not a requirement.
As a person, you are secure, stable, and distinguish between the personal and the professional. You relate to children in a listening and humble manner and adapt your communication based on who you meet.
You have good pedagogical skills and adapt yourself and your teaching to the individual and the situation. You are team-oriented, can motivate others, create engagement, and foster participation.
Furthermore, you adapt easily to new situations and working methods. You have the drive to suggest improvements and see challenges and difficulties as opportunities for development.
You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing and are well-versed in the school's regulatory documents.
