The Education Administration is one of Mjölby Municipality's six departments, responsible for preschool, compulsory school, upper secondary school, adapted compulsory and upper secondary school, and adult education. With approximately 1,000 employees, we offer education that promotes lifelong learning for all children and students, working towards the goal of "high knowledge results in a school where everyone can and wants to be." We place great emphasis on working closely with operations through regular dialogue and support for school leaders and teachers based on the chain of command.

Lagmansskolan 4-6 is centrally located in Mjölby, within walking distance from the train station. In January 2027, we will merge with Vasaskolan F-3 to form the newly built Lejonbackens skola F-6. We have begun our work in preparation for this merger into a joint school.

The goal and mission of the activity is to promote learning where the individual is stimulated to acquire and develop knowledge and values. Together with students and guardians, we focus on ensuring that students reach as far as possible in their development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You are responsible for music education in all grades during the autumn of 2026.

In mathematics, you are one of four teachers conducting education for grades 4 and 5.

In Swedish, your area of responsibility is to focus on reading training with students in all grades. You collaborate closely with teachers who have special educational needs roles.

The goal and mission of the activity is to promote learning where the individual is stimulated to acquire and develop knowledge and values. The school, in cooperation with homes, shall promote students' all-round personal development into active, creative, competent, and responsible individuals and citizens.

You shall, based on the set goals, work to ensure that students achieve the best possible development, both academically and socially, and actively influence and stimulate students to achieve these goals.

Create teaching that, based on the teacher's interpretation and understanding, meets the requirements of the Education Act, curriculum, course plan, and subject plan.

You must be subject-matter competent, mentor students, plan and lead teaching, assess, and grade knowledge development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you with teacher certification in music, mathematics, and Swedish for grades 4-6.

You uphold good ethics and sound values, have the ability to speak clearly, give presentations and lectures, and adapt these to the target audience's needs and feedback.

You have the ability to carefully analyze and assess different types of data to draw well-thought-out conclusions and to create functional solutions.

You adapt to changed circumstances and find it easy to adjust your behavior in relation to the needs of other people.
