Job Description

We are now looking for a certified teacher for the After-School Center (Fritidshem) as well as for Grades F-3.

The position is full-time. Ideally, the start date is August 2026, if possible. A probationary period of 6 months applies.

Work as a teacher in the after-school center and in preschool class – Grade 3. You will be part of a work team with teachers for Grades F-3. Your work involves planning, implementing, and following up on your teaching based on the Swedish National Curriculum (LGR22). You also have a mentorship role, which means you have overall responsibility for the students' knowledge development. You maintain close dialogue with the students' guardians and conduct development conferences.

Together with your colleagues, you work to create safety, structure, development, and an stimulating learning environment for the students. You work in teams with teaching colleagues, support teachers, and after-school staff. Our mission is to jointly lead and support the students in their social and academic development. In the team, the educators help each other with planning, teaching, and the students' school day.

Who are you?

You have a Swedish teacher's degree with a focus on the After-School Center (Fritidshem) and Grades 1-3, as well as a Swedish teaching license. You have clear pedagogical insight and the ability to implement the curriculum's goals in your work. You have clear leadership skills and stand strong in your student groups. You are flexible, structured, and well-prepared. You are a present and reflective educator who challenges and stimulates students to develop. A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is a given for you.

You have direct and humble communication with guardians and create trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

You should be positive and cooperative and ready to join an international team.

In your role, you teach in Swedish. Colleagues speak Swedish/English among themselves.
