Storängsskolan is a school with students from preschool class to grade six. There are three classes in each grade. The after-school program has four departments.

Approximately 420 students attend Storängsskolan, from preschool class to grade 6. We are now looking for a certified music teacher. What can we offer you?

You will be part of a close collaboration with the grade team and work team together with other colleagues. Together, you will design, plan, and evaluate the teaching for the relevant grades.

Your future responsibilities

The work involves being responsible for teaching the subject to students in grades 3–6. The teaching is conducted in half-classes. As a music teacher, you plan, implement, and follow up on the teaching within your subject area, always with the students' learning and development in focus. You adapt and develop the teaching based on the students' needs.

The role also entails

You are results-oriented, structured, and work formatively in your subject and processes necessary for the student's knowledge development. You value creating good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You have an egalitarian approach and can easily collaborate with your colleagues and other actors.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a teaching certification covering the relevant grades and subjects. You are confident and clear in your leadership and have the ability to create engagement and participation. You are skilled at meeting the differences of all students, adapting your learning environment and teaching to each student's needs and prerequisites. Furthermore, you are structured, have a positive attitude, and good ability to take initiative to achieve the best results for our students. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is expected.

You approach collaboration with others in a sensitive and humble manner. You have a good ability to build relationships with students, guardians, and other professionals within and outside the school. You are well-versed in the school's governing documents, such as curricula and grading criteria.
