The primary school/adapted primary school operation is part of the Education Administration. The operation comprises 21 primary schools as well as adapted primary school, and the total number of students is approx. 4,500. Four of the primary schools are upper secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6 (preschool class to grade 6). The operation also includes after-school centers.

Vätternskolan (grades F-6) is a school for everyone where students, parents, and staff experience safety, trust, and community. The school is characterized by very good cohesion, a warm climate, and dedicated teachers, and is a place where we stand up for each other. The goal of the operation is that everyone should succeed based on their prerequisites, and the foundation for this is a positive school climate, staff engagement, and pedagogical skill. We set demands and have high expectations of each other. The school should be a place that feels exciting and challenging to go to. The school's work team takes great responsibility for the students' knowledge development in close cooperation with the homes.

WORK TASKS

You are responsible for clearly planning, implementing, and evaluating your teaching, both individually and in collaboration with the work team and other colleagues. Through your subject knowledge and engagement, you create a creative and motivating learning environment where the student's development is in focus. You work according to current routines for individual development plans and assessment work. You collaborate with colleagues, student health services, students, and guardians to create a safe and developmental learning environment for the students.

For us, it is important that you have a clear student focus, and we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

QUALIFICATIONS

Formal competencies:

• Teacher certification with eligibility to teach Swedish, mathematics, Natural Science, and English in grades 4-6.
• Merit if you also have eligibility to teach Swedish as a second language.
