About the Company

Controller / Accountant

Do you want to work in a role where you can combine analysis, follow-up, and operational financial work? We are now looking for a controller/accountant who wants to be an important part of our client's finance function.

The assignment runs from July 27th or August 3rd to December 31st, 2026, and is 100% full-time.

Your Responsibilities

In the role of controller/accountant, you work close to the operations and contribute with both ongoing accounting and qualified financial follow-up. You are involved in the closing process and support the organization with analyses, forecasts, and financial investigations.

Your responsibilities include among other things:

• Participate in monthly and annual closing processes
• Perform reconciliations and handle inventory balances
• Work with reporting and financial follow-up
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting
• Follow up and analyze the company's financial results
• Identify deviations, risks, and the need for corrective actions in case of deficits
• Support colleagues within accounts receivable/payable and controlling
• Provide support to managers in follow-up and forecasting
• Prepare financial materials and conduct investigations
• Present results both in writing and orally to the business manager

Your Profile

Requirements:

• Relevant university degree in economics, or another education considered equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience as a controller or accountant with a focus on analysis, follow-up, and steering
• Substantial background as an accountant, auditor, or controller
• Experience with ongoing accounting work, including inventory accounting and inventory bookkeeping
• Experience independently performing monthly and annual closing processes
• Very good knowledge of Swedish accounting principles, accounts receivable/payable, bookkeeping, and the regulations of the closing process
• Experience supporting management teams strategically
• Accustomed to working close to operations

Merits:

• Experience with Raindance
• Experience with Sesam 2 (Visma's system support for assistive device operations)
• Experience in assistive device operations
• Experience working as a controller or accountant within inventory and logistics operations
• Good understanding of product flows, supply chain, and logistics costs
