Do you want to be responsible for developing security and contingency work in an organization with an important societal mission? Here you can combine strategy, operational work, and collaboration to strengthen our capabilities in both daily life and crises.

Who are we?

The mission of the Competence Supply Office is to make the future workforce visible and to be an active part in solving Norrköping's competence supply needs. With our shared resources and professional expertise, we are a central party internally and externally for societal growth and individual development.

We design effective and flexible education based on competence supply needs and career changes in working life, as well as measures for those who are far from the labor market. We give our residents the opportunity to grow and develop, where the path to self-sufficiency should be as short as possible. This increases the quality of life for residents, where more people take responsibility and contribute to a sustainable future.

Competence supply is the word that unites us in our mission across all the operations we work for. Within the office, we are approximately 400 employees responsible for support according to the Social Services Act, municipal labor market measures, budget and debt counseling, as well as adult education from SFI (Swedish for Immigrants) to university college level. We provide administrative support to the Competence Supply Board.

To the Business Support Unit 1, we are now looking for a Security Coordinator who wants to be part of our continued work to ensure quality and develop our office's security.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will have a broad responsibility where you combine work within both security and contingency, as well as crisis preparedness. You work strategically, preventively, and operationally to develop the organization's ability to handle both everyday risks and larger societal disruptions. You collaborate closely with management, operations, and external actors, playing a key role in creating safety, continuity, and coordinated contingency work.

You are responsible for establishing and managing an internal security forum within the office where security and contingency issues are handled. The role includes work within welfare crimes, safety work, security protection, as well as coordination and planning of contingency issues, including participation in the municipality's overall crisis and war planning. You contribute to creating materials for planning and ensure that the office is kept informed about current directives in the area.

A part of the work involves monitoring legal requirements, the external environment, and the municipality's directives, as well as being a close contact with the Safety and Security Department and contributing to collaboration with external actors within civil contingency. The work involves both strategic and operational responsibility, including the creation of planning materials, follow-up, and networking.

Furthermore, you are responsible for training and increasing the knowledge of employees in security and contingency-related issues, such as threats and violence, as well as continuity management. You also mentor staff based on emerging situations and contribute to strengthening the operation's ability to prevent, handle, and follow up on incidents.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a university education in societal security, risk, and crisis management. You have experience and knowledge about risk and damage management, security law, as well as physical and technical protection. You are accustomed to following and interpreting laws and implementing them in practical work within the organization.

You have a good understanding of how organizations function and the ability to navigate in complex contexts, where you take into account both structure, direction, and goals. With a strategic perspective, you can plan and develop methods that strengthen the operation's long-term capability within security and contingency.

As a person, you are calm and stable and have a good ability to see needs and meet people where they are. You find it easy to collaborate with others and readily take initiative for new professional relationships and networks both within and outside the municipal organization. Furthermore, you are communicative and thrive in a collaborative role where you actively share information and contribute to keeping others informed.

You take initiative, drive your work forward, and have the ability to turn ideas into action. Furthermore, you are confident in leading and guiding others by giving clear instructions and adapting your approach based on the situation and individual.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and a very good ability and habit to express yourself well in speech and writing.

The position is classified in the security class, which requires a passed security check.
