About the Department

The Joint Management Administration consists of the business areas Democracy & Service, Economy & Procurement, Working Life & Digital Technology, Strategic Urban Planning, Rescue Services & Security, and the Support Staff.

The administration is tasked with leading, supporting, and coordinating the entire municipal organization on behalf of the Municipal Executive Board. This is done by focusing on the customer's needs and maintaining a holistic view and common working methods. We are a learning organization that promotes innovation and learning from both the external world and each other.

The position of Communicator is located in the Communication & Service Center unit, which currently has 14 employees in various roles - unit manager, communicators, community guides, and business developers.

Job Responsibilities

As a Communicator, you work both strategically and operationally to plan, implement, and develop communication efforts that strengthen the municipality's operations, services, and brand. You produce content for the web, social media, and other channels, provide communication support to managers and operations, and contribute to open, clear, and accessible communication with residents, employees, and other target groups.

Qualifications

Formal Competencies:

University education in communication, media and communication science, journalism, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
At least two years of experience in strategic and operational communication work, specifically in providing communication support to managers and operations. Experience in communication work in the public sector or other politically governed organizations is meritorious.
Good digital competence and experience working with web and social media in various publishing tools. Experience and knowledge of digital advertising and campaign work on social media such as Meta and Google is meritorious.
Very good ability to communicate in Swedish - both orally and in writing. Very good ability to adapt messages to different target groups and channels.
Good knowledge of legislation affecting communication work, such as the Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and accessibility legislation.
Meritorious if you have experience in photo and video production, web analytics, impact measurement, and/or crisis & change communication.

Employment Conditions

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Start date by agreement.
Working hours: Office hours Mon-Fri 8-17, flexitime.
