We are now looking for a controller who wants to combine qualified financial work and business management with managerial responsibility in the university's central organization. In this role, you will hold a key position in developing and coordinating the University Administration's planning and financial work, contributing analyses and decision support that guide management's priorities and long-term steering.
About the Job
The University Administration's mandate is to generally plan for and monitor the university's operations, implement the university's strategy, and develop, renew, and manage support processes and administrative systems. Through collaboration, efficiency, and accessibility, the University Administration offers expert support and services to the university's operations in the areas of finance, real estate, HR, international collaboration, IT, study administration, communication, and legal affairs.

As a unit manager, you have personnel, financial, and operational responsibility for a team of six employees who provide consolidated financial support to the University Administration's operations. You develop processes to support and ensure that operations are conducted towards set goals. You will also assist in university-wide planning and financing issues, such as LiU's business plan and overall resource allocation, and participate in the work with budget foundations and forecasts for the entire university.
You are part of the Planning and Finance Department's management group, together with four other unit managers and the Planning and Finance Director. Together, you drive the strategic work to develop and ensure the quality of processes related to planning and finance at Linköping University.
