Lifeguard/Pool Manager for Ulricehamn Swimming and Sports Hall

The Culture and Leisure department works to provide a rich cultural and leisure offering for our residents and visitors. We are now looking for a Lifeguard/Pool Manager for our swimming and sports hall.
Our swimming and sports hall features two pools: a 25-meter swimming pool with a diving section and a teaching pool with a movable floor. We also have a popular water playground with plenty of space for splashing and play. We are keen on ensuring that everyone can use our facilities. All work at the swimming and sports hall is based on our three focus areas:

- Good treatment/service

Job Responsibilities
As a Lifeguard/Pool Manager, you will work with safety supervision, service to our guests, and supervision of the entire facility, which includes the swimming hall, sports hall, reception, changing rooms, and gym.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Conducting swimming and lifesaving instruction, badge testing, and various activities such as water aerobics, baby swimming, and mini swimming.
- Providing service to visitors and partners, as well as participating in operational planning and development.
- Contributing to a clean, fresh, and safe facility. Cleaning duties in all wet areas are included in the role.
- Working evening and weekend shifts with a rotating schedule between reception and pool duties.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Lifeguard certification, post-secondary education with swimming instructor specialization, or other certified education deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Swimming proficiency is required, and we require a passed diving and lifesaving test.
- Merits: Pool lifeguard training or water aerobics training, as well as training or knowledge in CPR, fitness, or first aid.
- Previous experience in the profession, work with children, and good swimming skills.
- Basic computer skills are an advantage.

Note: A certified extract from the police criminal record for work with children and young people is a prerequisite for employment. A criminal record check is required upon job offer.
