As Petter is going on parental leave, the Communications Department at the Municipal Executive Office is looking for a Communicator for a period of four months. Are you a rock star at writing? Do you quickly come up with ideas to make a difference for the recipient and have the drive to implement them? Are you a top-tier networker who is experienced yet still curious and solution-oriented? Then you are the one we are looking for. The Communications Department contributes to creating clear, unified, and proactive communication in both physical and digital channels. We work with both external and internal communication to strengthen the Danderyd Municipality brand and support the municipality's operations.
Your primary workplace will be Djursholm Castle in Danderyd, but you will also spend part of your time in Danderyd Centre, where some of the departments are located. Employees within the municipality are offered the opportunity, in agreement with their manager, to work part-time remotely where possible.

Responsibilities
The week begins with a joint editorial planning session where you, together with your colleagues, prioritize and plan upcoming assignments. Days consist of a mix of event-driven and planned activities where you generate ideas, write, produce, and publish content on our websites and other channels. You will work closely with others in the department and various administrations, serving as their expert support in communication. In your role, you will be responsible for the entire communication chain by defining, anchoring, and implementing ideas and concepts. You ensure that communication is clear and relevant both externally and internally, working operationally with strategic height. Your work is characterized by analyzing needs, making assessments, and proposing communicative solutions that achieve the desired effect based on the operations and target audience's needs. You will be part of a wonderful team consisting of communicators, a web strategist, and a graphic producer, where we actively support each other and collaborate to achieve success in our communication efforts.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Several years of experience in similar tasks with a focus on both internal and external communication
- Experience with digital communication tools, social media, and content production
- Experience working in the public sector or another politically governed organization
- Very good linguistic skills in both speech and writing
It is an advantage if you also have:
- Knowledge in visual communication, such as film/photography and image editing
- Knowledge of press management and crisis communication
We are looking for someone who can think outside the box and bring new suggestions to old problems. You are solution-oriented with good teamwork skills, building strong relationships both within and outside the team. You are flexible and easily shift focus between different tasks and situations that arise, even under pressure. To succeed in the role, it is important that you can structure, plan, and prioritize your assignments. You also have strong initiative and can work independently. You take responsibility for your tasks from start to finish and contribute creativity and lack of pretension to others to achieve the set goal. Personal suitability is highly valued.
