The Unit for Externally Funded Research, Innovation and Collaboration, within the University's Operational Support, is seeking a Senior Project Manager for work at the interface between academia and business/the surrounding society. You will become part of a team that plans, implements, and develops strategic initiatives, projects, and activities that strengthen collaboration and innovation. The unit offers support to researchers, students, companies, and organizations, as well as to the university management in matters related to collaboration and innovation.
The work is project-based and dynamic, meaning that projects and focus areas may change over time. However, the role has a stable core focused on project management, collaboration, development, and implementation.

Responsibilities:
The role involves independently driving and coordinating projects and development efforts within the collaboration field, often in complex environments where multiple actors collaborate. The work includes planning, implementation, follow-up, and reporting of projects, sub-projects, and activities, often within externally funded initiatives.
A central part of the assignment is to develop and offer services that support collaboration and innovation. You will work on creating and developing meeting places, planning and conducting seminars, workshops, and other collaboration activities, as well as building and nurturing networks within and outside the university.
Initially, a large part of the assignment will be linked to NorrlandsNavet. The work involves developing and implementing activities where students meet companies and organizations, as well as contributing to the development of need-driven approaches for competence development and collaboration. The role may also involve participating in the search for funding for new projects and initiatives.
Communication is an integrated part of the project manager role. You are responsible for ensuring that the project's activities, offers, and results are communicated clearly and professionally to different target groups, and you work operationally with, for example, web, social media, newsletters, presentations, and events. You contribute to making the project results visible and ensure that communication supports the project's goals and collaboration ambitions.
Qualifications
The position requires an academic degree and documented experience in independently planning, driving, and following up on projects. You have experience in project management, budgeting, and follow-up, as well as in communicating and disseminating the project's activities and results. You also have good knowledge of application and funding processes for publicly funded projects.
As the university is an international environment, very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is required.
We are looking for you who thrive in complex collaboration environments and have a genuine interest in collaboration, innovation, and development. You easily build trusting relationships and collaborate with researchers, senior management, and external actors. You are communicative, have the ability to create engagement, and can adapt your message to different target groups.
You work in a structured and quality-conscious manner, take responsibility for your tasks, and drive the work forward. You are flexible and confident in both leading and supporting roles, and have experience in planning and implementing activities, seminars, events, and communication in digital channels.
It is meritorious if you have experience from projects where collaboration between the university and the surrounding society has been central, and if you have worked with service development, service design, and/or process management.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
